We got good surprise yesterday afternoon when we learned that Daniel Johnston, the artist who became known thanks to Kurt Cobain (full story here), you end up going in concert by the cities of Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Valladolid. The dates of this small Spanish tour will range between 18 and 21 April and will assist Daniel to look through a small part of material they collect the seventeen albums he has released throughout his career. Enclose the dates of this discreet but intense tour will pass through the halls of our country:
Madrid April 18 Lit House
Lava Valladolid April 19
April 20 Valencia The Fool
April 21 Barcelona Apollo
So far nothing is known about the ticket sales. When we know something edit the same entry.
Reviewing the web we have seen that the musician will also present their art in the city of Madrid. This exciting event will be held at La Casa Lit in the day of the concert. If you live in the capital Madrid and want to spend a day 100% Johnstoniano, you know, show + concert of Daniel in the same room. Luxury.

READING GOES TECHNO ...
Who knows the multimedia readings of Deef Pirmasens, with whom he toured across the way, already by the Republic, who knows that one is rarely disappointed. This Friday, the 02.24.2012 must, 21:30 h, fans of literature and / or electronic dance music immediately forward twice. Firstly because there Performer Deef Pirmasens at Harry Klein's travel experiences from Mexico for the best. There at least he did not visit such as the Mexican drug mafia, but Airen in his new adopted home. Those ex-Berlin bloggers, from the scandal mice Helene Hegemann 2010, a few lines had sampled too much of their former young literary debut "Axolotl Roadkill" stolen /. An action, which at that time was incidentally discovered by Deef Pirmasens and gave the grateful German literary landscape each year due to the scandal. But enough of the old stories - we prefer to look forward!
(Seems so devoid of it in the land of the Zapatistas, cartels and tequila bars are not well -'s note Editor) "love, drugs and Mexico" is the motto of the upcoming multi-media reading and the associated travel report has been published in the SZ, in addition Further texts are over clubbing in Munich from the pen presented by Deef. Who wants a taste, the look on here.
And where is the electronic music? Apart from beat-backed visuals while reading the Harry Klein waits for a second or a treat. BEN KLOCK, Berghain resident is following the reading of the after-show party at the DJ booth. Who the Berghain complex from the inside and knows the most körperforcierte synapses explosion at sunrise out if open to high lamellar blinds the Panorama slowly, once experienced has - who knows exactly what cheer the electric heart must: The sound spectrum of a typical BEN KLOCK - night ranges from dry, multinucleated minimal beats to heart opening rave orgasms. The Berghain, the home club, as he loves and knows BEN KLOCK is a humming box of steel, welding and concrete. Here he has lived for the first time that music sounds the way it is intended. That the bass bounces like a fat ball, that one may be tougher than elsewhere, that one must not give the party clown when playing records. Berghain is pursuing an idea, and uncompromisingly. And that's what we will get this Friday evening at Harry Klein on the ears! BIG TIME!
The agreement therefore strongly recommended: Friday yet fast Airens debut novel "strobe" read. The autobiographical novel key plays mostly in and around the mountain and the grove Panaromabar. And for the lazy readers among you we have a track ready ...

Blur caused delirium in Brits
Both the Best Female Artist award as the Best Album for "21". Foo Fighters took the Best International Group and Coldplay for Best British Group. The Brits gala awards handed out for all but the best moment of the night was that caused the members of Blur to interpret the classic 'Girls & Boys' (and a small piece of 'Song 2') against the followers to agglutinated in the media room this evening.
Edited: Also performed 'This Is A Low', 'Tender' and 'Park Life'. You can enjoy the performance in full below:
Yesterday we took a little disappointed about not getting any response to the big question that we had a couple of weeks formulándonos: Damien Albarn would end and the other members of Blur playing in a Spanish festival this summer face? Still harbor some hope but the thing looks pretty, pretty shitty. To see if the time ends up giving us some minor surprise ...

Simple Plan to sell out concerts in Madrid and Barcelona
A few months ago it was announced that Simple Plan would return to Spain next March. The two concerts organized by Cap-Cap Productions, one in Madrid and another in Barcelona, will be the perfect opportunity for Canadians to submit Get Your Heart On!, His latest album which took off in June last year and we write a review . Still, today's news is that tickets are sold out at the two locations. I guess the fact that last week sold out in Madrid activated warning light fans of Barcelona and has been a matter of time either stay in the Catalan capital.
2011 was a good year for Simple Plan. They released new album, have been traveling around the world have participated in charitable ... the truth is that despite the passing years and the slight change experienced music from first to last album, your fans will continue to receive with open arms wherever you go.
Do not miss the concerts that will be offered in our country within a month with We The Kings as support:
12/03 - San Miguel Room, Madrid
13/03 - Sala Razzmatazz, Barcelona

Because a transfer of his father, the family moved to London in 1822, what should be a short time later prove to be the wrong decision in life and vital signs of the young Charles Dickens.
For the next year the father was able to not take care of the family, after which he came into debtors' prison. Only Charles was engaged in family cohesion and power. So it was that he worked in a warehouse and fulfill his duties at school could not.
With writing for various newspapers has at some point an increased interest in writing bemacht felt what led him to 1838, the first version of Oliver Twist to publish. This was followed by many more times over the permanent works, as there would be:

20 years fall ... and no one thanked Him!
So friends, now is again concluded here with the found object parade.
Now is to talk tough, objective and relevant historical facts journalism operated!
You hear in the last few weeks of nothing else in the so-called media, as the Wall came down. Well ... it was just a damn important and moving event, but that same story to tell his every need?
Margot Honecker was the first to have launched on the 60th anniversary of good old German Democratic Republic (here is the link to smile) ...
Then told me recently Schabowski in the ARD, in a very interesting document, as it was, with him and the paper and this press conference a little curious ...
And finally, yesterday Angie describes our federal 9 November 1989 as the happiest day in her life ...
Oh yes ... and this funny little Frenchman covert John F. Kennedy ... or something like that ... actually Linda de Mol was also at the start? I thought all the time looking past fall where more than 10 dominoes ...
Well ... at least you will now you're probably thinking, WTF has this have to do with music? Quite simply ... I'll tell you:
One man was not gratefully fact.
A man who has the time ... at least as done its part to ensure that Germany became one again ...
A man ... who recognized the feelings of the people and wrote a song that brought them to the streets to fight for what they are soo much longed ...
A man ... where his last appearance on the big stage (or in the mobile crane) was denied for some reason ...
David ... we give you this stage ...
There you go!

Pete Doherty scandal
At the beginning of his spontaneous performance at "on3" festival (Bavarian Broadcasting) in Munich, Pete Doherty played the first verse of our national anthem, the forbidden. Not just a willful, drug-induced faux pas, or planned but scandal?
Now needs to Heinrich Hoffmann von Fallersleben turning in their graves, and yet everything is completely harmless?
What is your opinion? Give your comment on this.
Looking forward to a lively discussion.

Decidedly undecided
We all do not always know how we are to make the right decision. So often we are faced with the question: What should I do? Simone Bauer (21) is written with a very basic question charming book.
Simone Bauer is 21 years old and grew up in the quiet Burglengenfeld. At 14, she began to write, initially only for friends, but eventually pushed to the desire for more. A book should be. But until the time came, took a long time and lots of ideas.
The 21-year-old had lots of ideas, creative and entertaining, but the publishing company Schwarzkopf & Schwarzkopf was not convinced by the talented author. After many more written pages, was finally able to convince them. The editors of the publishing house she wanted to know. Packed with many ideas Simone traveled to Berlin.
From idea to book - in one weekend
In Berlin, Simone could let their creativity run wild and the editors describe their idea. These were so interested that they formed together the characters of their story. And then everything happened very quickly. "My book, I've actually written over four weekends," says Simone. "I first wrote the beginning and then the end.". The characters are fictitious, however, says Simone, but the main character ähnle her but a little bit.
An idea for a new book Simone has been, but for now her full time job does not allow second book. Writer, she wants to be. "I'd like a house on the beach." Says Simone and smiles.

Celtic Woman Interview
Celtiv woman live with a new show Believe in June at the Olympic Hall in MünchenAb May 2012, the Irish music sensation Celtic Woman at their biggest European tour to the German audience bring thoughtful and spirited moments. On 06/01/2012, the tour leads them to Munich in the Olympic Hall. The focus of the show are songs from their new studio album "Believe" stand, which will be released in March. Just in time for this publication, we will throw in our blog also has a detailed look at the upcoming concert in Munich. Today, however, we want to make a pre-interview before some anticipation for the album and tour. The interview was conducted by Oliver wreath with Lisa Lambe (vocals) and Máiréad Nesbitt (violin). Provided it was of the Promoters Group Munich (PGM).
Question: Are the songs in your show "Believe" are all new?
Máiréad: Yes, most of them. Two of the songs we've sung before, but the others are new. We have a new tour, new material and a show with a new name: "Believe". This is something special.
Both: It's exciting.
Question: Does the new program, a story or a plot?
Máiréad: All our shows describing a journey. Our musical director David Downes puts more value out, that there is a common thread. Of course, we as a group, Celtic Woman also has its own sound, that is, no matter what we sing, it sounds like us. Also holds the programs. Our songs, especially those new to come on our show, all from the heart. It expressed different emotions that are important to us.
Lisa: Each song tells a story, and although all the songs are different and are a
have their own rhythm, there is a large arch, which is crossed. We invite you as Máiréad tells the audience to go with us on the journey.
Q: Believe - Believe - this is a big word. To what kind of faith is at stake?
Máiréad: That everyone sees differently. We believe in what we do. We love our work so much - the songs we sing or the music we make. For us there are no barriers. This feeling we want to communicate. No matter where they come from the audience, they should feel as part of a larger whole, together with us to go on a journey. Origin, occupation and age we do not care. Is important to us that our audience loves music as passionately as we do. We want to convey to the visitors.
Lisa: The audience is very important. We respond to the emotions that we are met with during the show from the audience - hence our performances are always something different, even if the program is the same. It's about the experience that we do together with the audience. The word "faith" to confirm the fantastic way. How Máiréad has already said, since there is a group that is a word that connects you with us. People say: "We believe in your music." So we'll now show where this word appears in the title. We want to thank those who have believed up to us. We want to provide hope and positive feelings. And the title "Believe," says: Anything is possible.
Q: That sounds almost religious.
(Laughter)
Máiréad: I do not know. Maybe this is our religion, we love our music and we love the people who have supported us on our way. We have very loyal and passionate fans all over the world. These are the best fans that you can have. We want to embrace the title of each.
Question: In the show is sung, but also plays violin and dances Máiréad. Will the new program be the same?
Máiréad: Yes. Each of us has two or three solos in the show and then there are songs where we act as an ensemble. So it always is. This time I am lucky to be able to play some new songs solo. So I'm excited.
Celtiv woman live with a new show Believe in June at the Olympiahalle in Munich Q: I always wonder how you do it, Máiréad? Violin playing requires great accuracy. When the body moves while dancing, it is difficult ...
Máiréad: The upper body moves not so much, only the lower body. We have a good choreographer. The leaves make me easy. If I had to learn all the steps, like everyone else, I would probably not play that way. What do I do go together must always be in my music. I've always done it. It's fun and the music it makes sense.
Question: Máiréad if you are on stage playing violin while dancing, you can feel as a spectator literally how lucky you are. Is that so?
Máiréad: I think so. But that's probably all of us in this: the two hours that evening, we are on stage for us the best times of day. For me it is certainly the case that I'm happiest on stage. I can forget everything else and lose myself in music. And it makes me - like others - fun to tell the audience.
Question: Of course you thrilled with your wonderful voice. In many reviews you will often compared to angels. How difficult is it to be an angel?
Lisa: I think the appeal of the show lies in the harmony of the voices. This is a great magic. I think there are moments in the show because the music is actually almost heavenly. During the song "You raise me up" for example, can be seen in the faces of the audience, how much they love those moments. It's nice to be compared to angels. Even if we did not create it. We just feel comfortable in our skin and the harmony of our voices, we are instantly recognizable.
Question: How much exercise is needed every day?
Lisa: The voice is a muscle that must be practiced constantly. The show lasts two hours. Before that, it is an hour sound check. One can say that we start at noon with the preparation of our presentation. But it is also routine. If we did not do this, it would feel very strange.
Question: How does your television shows? Would your performances will be different if there were no television?
Máiréad: Interesting question. Clearly, if there was no television, we would not get into people's living rooms.
Lisa: Sometimes it's just nice to close your eyes and hear the music. But if we add the visual, it does not achieve a different level. As we have seen the stage set of "Believe" for the first time, we can hardly believe it: we immediately felt like princesses. It has an ethereal beauty. It is a blessing that people see this and not only hear the music. We are very pleased that we now can show the show the people of Germany. We're here and now appeared to come back for a longer tour is fantastic. There are great venues and a wonderful audience.
Question: In the press you'll often called the hardest working women in show business called, and if you look at your tour schedule, one can hardly believe it actually. How do you manage it so often on stage?
Máiréad: Right, we're working hard. But even people who surround us, work hard - our management, our crew, our orchestra, our choir, our costume designer and David Downes, our composer. We enjoy it. If this were easy, everyone would do so. We are very pleased that we can take our music and our ideas further.
Question: How many free days you have per year?
Máiréad: We travel a lot. Last year we were eight, nine months away. But it has never felt so much.
Question: The other Lisa in the band has three children. How do they do it? Does she see the three little?
Lisa: No, they are always there. She is one of the most amazing mothers I know and their children are also incredible. You grew up with Celtic Woman. I've only been here last year, but I am glad to have met the children. And Lisa is a kind of role model.
Máiréad: She is great and full of gratitude, Lisa said: the children had four mothers. For us it's fantastic to have her with us. They are great and the mother is great. The children know the show better than we do. (Laughter)
Come and visit the Celtic Woman concert at the Olympiahalle on 06.01.2012 in Munich. The team from Munich Blog wishes much fun.

(Laughter)

Shinedown live at the Theatre Factory
Shinedown at the club in February tour of Germany on the way and make it in the theater in Munich factory maintenance "They can be happy if they ever sell 500 CDs", they have illuminated the beginning of the millennium, critics soon after its founding. Today, six million albums sold later, the American post-grunge band Shinedown laugh at such statements. The four guys around frontman Brent Smith on 03/02/2012 as part of their club tour of Europe to see live theater in the factory in Munich and unite in their music in addition to Southern rock and metal and acoustic components with fondness, but Smith said: " Our music is based grunge. But is anything goes. Just do not create unnecessary restrictions. "
How incredibly diverse their bandwidth, Shinedown have proven recently with her 2CD/2DVD-Paket "Somewhere In The Stratosphere," which was released in late 2011 and two completely different concerts (both as CD and DVD) includes. During her concert in Washington State an absolute bombastic, before pyro and light show only so exuberant rock show of superlatives is shown to Shinedown at their gig in Kansas City from a completely different side - complete suit wearing in an old theater house, she set interpreted acoustically. That they can both have perfect, the four (of all) no later proved to publication. The critics are in fact long been silenced.
Even if they fill the largest halls in the United States and the radio up and down the leak, Shinedown are anything but aloof rock stars. Quite the contrary, it impressed with how the guys are very down to earth. The fans can confirm that with them after their last performance in Munich in October 2008 after the - celebrated after-show party - complete public access. First there was as opening act for Disturbed rocked the zenith, then it went into the Optimolwerke in the garage, where there was no fear of contact to me the fans.
Then a fifth member was part of the band, but Nick Perri, who worked on rhythm guitar, has left the band shortly afterwards. Shortly before that, during the recordings for their third album "Sound of Madness", it gave the band a major restructuring, as the two founding members Jasin Todd (guitar) and Brad Stewart (bass) left the band - not bad, but you simply wanted to develop musically in a different direction. The two other stalwarts Smith and Barry Kerch (drummer) had to umsuchen so for a replacement. The new guitarist Zack Meyers was not so really new, since already in the Tour for the second album "Us and Them" (alone, with this album name shows up again the Fannähe Shine Downs) this was an additional live support on stage . The glam-rocker Eric Bass was finally found the perfect new bassist.
That this restructuring is not due to bad blood vonstatten went, seen from the fact that it Shinedown after years of not daring to one of their greatest numbers, the Lynyrd Skynyrd cover of "Simple Man" playing live because it is the 'baby' Ex-guitarist Todd was. Shinedown felt humble in their interviews that it would not be correct, perform the song again, because the remembrance of the fans at old performances (with Todd) can not be beat.

The fact that they still can, Shinedown have proven on their recent U.S. tour, during which the two concerts of "Somewhere In The Stratosphere" sets were recorded. So they came - as it typically is - according to the Fanwünschen who had since the release of "Sound of Madness" in 2008, pleaded and begged, "Simple Man" finally back on the program to record.
In the forthcoming tour of Germany again, it goes into the smaller clubs in the country. Make as it did for their last tour in Germany in late 2009 Shinedown this February at the Munich theater factory maintenance. Her fans can look forward to an intimate evening in the (relatively) small group and who knows - maybe Shinedown fill in this country at its next tour of the big halls, as in the United States.
Come and visit Shinedown on 03.02.2012 in the theater factory in Munich. As opening acts are Halestorm and Liberty Lies of the party. The team from Munich Blog wishes much fun.

Theater of the Void. Theater of the future?
"Firstly, we need the big houses anymore, they just need to self Secondly, the future of theater is the prerogative of interpretation and the ignorance of those who threatened to use its machinery to the most experienced. So we omit it. Third, when the Second German Television loses every eight minutes for an audience, it looks to the theater in the shortest time from a lot worse. Fourthly, it is therefore a 'theater of the Void will be. "
The Theater of the Void is a dramatic post-documentary comedy. In the summer of 2010, the dramaturg Katrin Dollinger and Kai Schmidt began with a scholarship from the state capital Munich to investigate the "Theater of the Void." What started as a lab experiment, proved difficult to control very soon. Probably a strict set of rules for the meeting and dealing with the void would have been necessary, because no one is accustomed to this state and can not be used. People who have agreed to it, were thrown back on itself. The nothingness that surrounded it was unbearable to them.
At the end of their month-long research project found that the former State Theatre actor Calvin Schmidt Knight costume, props, wardrobe locked in an empty house. His story is told they are because the reality of the vision has long since overtaken and left far behind.

Swedish-born pianist Peter Jablonski
We don't hear as much of Swedish-born pianist Peter Jablonski in the UK as we might, which is strange, given that he lives here. He developed a reputation for being a hard-hitting heavyweight, a criticism not borne out by his recent work, in which vigour is offset by great delicacy. There's a maverick quality to Jablonski's programming, however, that reveals an easy familiarity with a repertoire of considerable breadth. His latest QEH recital was no exception.
The first half consisted of two big, moody 19th-century ballades: Liszt's Second in B minor and Grieg's in G minor. Some pianists prefer a bright tone in Liszt, but Jablonski opted for something darker, so that the obsessive left-hand chromatic scales heaved with menace, while the arpeggios and figurations that surround the expansive central melody combined beauty with a deep sense of unease. Grieg's Ballade – in reality a set of variations on a Norwegian folksong – has a discursive quality that Jablonski could not disguise, though the emotional range of the performance was immense, with crushing grief in the central lento, and sardonic, angry humour in the scherzando passages.
After the interval came works by Gershwin, Copland and Samuel Barber. The jazzy extroversion with which he tackled Gershwin's Three Preludes for Piano spoke volumes about his fondness for this music, while Earl Wild's transcription of Embraceable You was breathtaking in its dexterity and finesse. Muted and Sensuous, the fourth of Copland's Four Piano Blues, was a wonderful mix of sleaze and elegance. The case for Barber's Sonata – with its angular lines and sparse sonorities – could not, meanwhile, have been better put. There was one encore – Debussy's Feux d'artifice, sensationally played.
