Donna Summer, known for three decades as the queen of disco, died this morning after battling hard against cancer, at age 63.
Summer had been diagnosed several years ago of breast cancer, but had not known anything about his fight with the disease until this morning. According to website TMZ, the artist was in Florida at the time of his death.
It was 5 times Grammy winner, thanks to timeless hits comLast Dance, Hot Stuff, Bad Girls and I feel love, many of which were produced by Giorgio Moroder, one of the pioneers of electronic music. At some point in his career, too, his repertoire included this version of Do not Cry for Me Argentina, from the musical Evita.
